Township Trades Soap Training Workshop February 26, 2008

Township Trades have started their first ever soap training workshop with 14 people from Khayelitsha. International soap expert Melinda Coss is in charge of overall soap training and is being supported by Cape Town’s Nicolene Gericke. The trainees have learnt all aspects of soap making including oil infusion,oil combinations, trimming and packaging, batch sheet recording and marketing.
By the end of the soap training 9 different receipes will have been produced. With the major essentail oils used being lavendan, rose geranium, teatree, lemongrass, sweet orange, lime. Indigenious herbs roosboss, buchu among others.
