Charlotte Woodroffe helps out at Township Trades August 19, 2008

Charlotte, daughter of YoSushi founder and Dragon Den star Simon Woodroffe, took time out from her holiday in South Africa to spend some days working at Townhship Trades. Charlotte who has recently finished her A levels in the UK, is passionate about helping out ever since her father become involved with Township Trades earlier in the year.

• Township Trades is a start up social enterprise based in Khayelitsha township in South Africa. Our aim is to answer the urgent needs of young adults who have lost their parents to HIV. At Township Trades we believe there is a choice; we can abondon Africa's orphans to a life dependent on charity and government aid or we can provide them with the business skills to become independent through trade. Welcome to Township Trades.
